Booking & Payment

A $50 non-refundable retainer is due at booking to reserve your session time. The retainer is applied toward your session total—it is not an additional fee.

Your remaining balance will be invoiced separately and must be paid before your session.

Philippe Park is a great choice for families who want their photographs to feel festive without every image screaming "Christmas." It's also perfect for richer holiday colors, plaids, and traditional Christmas wardrobe choices.

Choose Sand Key Beach if...

You love the beach and want something that feels unmistakably Florida.

Sand Key is perfect for families who prefer a relaxed, coastal look or want Christmas cards that show off Christmas on the Gulf Coast. Whites, creams, tans, muted greens, soft blues, and tasteful pops of Christmas red can all work beautifully against the sand and water.

There's no wrong answer. Both events are designed to create beautiful family portraits first—with as much or as little Christmas as you'd like.

Can I bring more than 5 people?

These mini sessions are designed for families and groups of up to 5 people. If you have a larger group, please contact OR Portraits before booking so we can determine whether a mini session will provide enough time for your group.

Are Christmas props provided?

We're keeping these sessions intentionally simple so the focus stays on you and your family.

A Christmas blanket will be available if you'd like to incorporate a festive element into some of your photographs, but there will not be an elaborate Christmas set.

Do we have to dress for Christmas?

Not at all.

You can go completely festive, subtly seasonal, or choose timeless outfits with no Christmas theme whatsoever. Your wardrobe will have the biggest influence on how "Christmas" your final photographs feel.

How do I choose my 8 photographs?

After your session, you'll receive a private online proofing gallery where you can select your 8 favorite images for final editing and delivery.

Love more than eight? You'll have the option to purchase additional photographs or upgrade to the full gallery.

Can I use these for Christmas cards?

Absolutely! These sessions are timed specifically to give you plenty of time to receive your finished photographs and use them for Christmas cards, gifts, prints, and holiday posts.

What happens if the weather doesn't cooperate?

Florida weather doesn't always follow our plans. If conditions make it unsafe or impractical to photograph, OR Portraits will communicate any changes and provide information about rescheduling.

Can we bring our dog?

Please contact OR Portraits before bringing a pet so we can confirm the rules for your chosen location and make sure we can safely incorporate them into your session.
