You're coming to Florida to spend time together — not spend half your vacation at a photo shoot.
My beach portrait sessions are relaxed, easygoing, and designed to capture both the portraits you'll want on your walls and the little moments that make your family yours.
We'll get everyone looking at the camera, of course. But we'll also let the kids play, walk along the water, laugh together, and enjoy the beach.
The goal isn't to make your family look perfectly posed.

Beach Portrait Sessions
Beach portrait sessions start at $225 for families of up to 5 and include a relaxed 30-minute session, 15 professionally edited high-resolution images, a private proofing gallery, and a personal print release.
Planning a vacation with grandparents, cousins, or multiple families? Extended-family sessions are also available, with additional time for different family groupings and combinations.

There's a reason so many Florida beach portraits happen toward the end of the day.
The softer light around sunset can give us beautiful skies, warmer light, and a much more comfortable experience than standing on the beach under the midday Florida sun.
I'll help you plan your session time around the season, sunset, location, and the ages of your children.

Larger and extended families may require additional session time. Tell me about your group when you inquire and I'll help you choose the best option.
What If Florida Weather Doesn't Cooperate?
It's Florida. Sometimes the forecast has other ideas.
I'll keep an eye on the weather as your session approaches. If conditions aren't suitable for your portraits, we'll work together to find the best option based on the weather and your vacation schedule.
Because visitors may only have a few days available, I recommend scheduling your portrait session earlier in your trip when possible. That can give us some flexibility if Mother Nature decides to change our plans.

How far in advance should we book?
Vacation dates can fill quickly, particularly around holidays and popular travel periods. Once you know your travel dates, it's a good idea to reach out. You don't need to have the exact location or session time figured out yet — we'll work through that together.
Do you photograph families staying outside Clearwater Beach?
Absolutely. I photograph families throughout the Pinellas County Gulf Coast, including Clearwater Beach, Sand Key, Indian Rocks Beach, Madeira Beach, Treasure Island, St. Pete Beach, and surrounding areas.
Can you photograph a large extended family?
Yes. Extended-family sessions can include the entire group as well as smaller family combinations. Larger groups may need additional session time, so include your approximate number of people when you inquire.
Can we choose our own beach?
Absolutely. If you already have a beach that's meaningful to your family or you'd like your portraits near where you're staying, tell me about it. I'll help determine whether it's a good fit for your session.
What happens if it rains?
I'll monitor the weather leading up to your session. Florida weather can change quickly, so we don't necessarily make decisions based on an afternoon forecast several days ahead. If weather prevents us from shooting, we'll look at the options available during the rest of your stay.
We don't know how to pose. Is that a problem?
Not at all.
You don't need to know what to do in front of the camera — that's my job. I'll guide you when we need a traditional portrait and give your family prompts and room to interact when we want something more natural.
